What images come to mind when you think of Labor Day or when you think of am American Worker? For many it’s not a Black Worker.
However from churches to hospitals, railroads to the statute of freedom on top of our Nation’s capital dome, the results of Black Labor can be seen all across the USA.
On September 4, 2017, 2pm-4pm CST OBS will join the National Black Worker Center Project and Fight For $15 to celebrate the achievements and lift up the challenges of Black Work in a Black Labor Day Twitter Storm. We will also kick off our Working While Black campaign locally. Share your stories with us about what it means to be a Black workers in the metro St. Louis area.
